Saturday, November 1, marked the start of Donation Season. November is typically the highest donation period, with the week following Thanksgiving as the last big push. Here are tips on making the most of November donations.

We are excited to announce that we are participating in Give Choose on Tuesday, March 24 – and YOU are invited!  Give Choose is a 24-hour day of giving organized by the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties to benefit local nonprofits serving our community.  It is the most important fundraiser we do all year.

We’re kicking off another exciting season of saving pumpkins from the landfill and putting them to good use—feeding farm animals and supporting sanctuaries across North America. Whether you’ve donated pumpkins before or you’re just learning about us, you’re part of a growing movement that turns seasonal abundance into community impact.

We’re excited to kick off another year of food rescue with you! Together, we’re keeping food out of landfills and giving it new purpose by feeding your farm animals, supporting sanctuaries, and strengthening our communities.

Today, March 25, is our biggest day of giving, and we need your help to reach our $5,000 goal!
Your donation fuels food rescue efforts. Every dollar helps educate and mobilize 500,000+ residents in Loudoun and Northern Fauquier counties, ensuring more food reaches farms, sanctuaries and rescues instead of landfills.

DONORS: Together, we are reducing food waste and supporting animals in our communities.
Thank you to all our partners, volunteers, and supporters who made 2024 another successful year. In 2024, over 1000 animals across 35 farms and rescues benefited from more than 93,000 pounds of food in Loudoun and Fauquier counties.

November 1 kicked off the pumpkin donation season. With donation collections across the country throughout November, there are lots of ways to get involved that works with your busy Fall schedule.
