GIVING TUESDAY

Tuesday, December 3

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global movement that occurs on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It was created as a day that encourages people to do good, a contrast to the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. On Giving Tuesday, individuals, communities, and organizations come together to give back in various ways, such as donating to charities, volunteering, or performing acts of kindness.

Why support Pumpkins For Pigs?

Pumpkins For Pigs (PFP) is a small non-profit organization established in 2017 with a mission to reduce food waste in our communities by diverting viable foodstuffs including pumpkins to farms, animal sanctuaries, and rescues for feed or compost.

Have you benefitted?

Has your organization benefitted from the mission of Pumpkins for Pigs over the past seven years? This Giving Tuesday (December 3, 2024), you can make a difference! A donation to Pumpkins for Pigs helps us cover vital administrative and operational costs, ensuring we can continue supporting communities like yours. Every contribution counts – thank you for helping us keep the mission alive!

Pumpkins For Pigs Foundation is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3). We're committed to doing the most we can with the resources available to us. Every dollar we receive directly supports our mission of reducing food waste, and we're constantly striving to maximize our impact. We deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to make a difference with the resources available to us.
