Happy Fall Solstice — can you believe pumpkin season is here?! We are excited to continue our mission of reducing food waste in communities across North America for our 8th season. Thanks to your support, 800 tons of pumpkins and related foods were diverted from landfills, which prevented over 334 tons of carbon dioxide. Let’s keep the momentum going!
A New Website for the 2024 Season
We’re thrilled to unveil our newly redesigned website. It’s now easier to navigate and packed with resources to help us fight food waste together.
Buy a Shirt to Support Us
You can support us this season by purchasing a PFP-branded shirt in sizes S-XXXL. Our goal is 50 shirts.

Year-End Giving Plans
It’s never too early to start your year-end giving plans. We accept PayPal, Venmo, checks, and cash. Your monthly donation of $25 will pay for the transportation of two collections annually.
Does your employer offer a Corporate Match? Pumpkins For Pigs is registered with Benevity (American Online Giving Foundation, Inc. (AOGF)), and we are eligible for a 100% match.
Plan Your Collection Event
Donation season begins Friday, November 1, so now is the perfect time to plan a collection for your neighborhood, school, business, or other group. It’s easy, and we’re here to help! Complete our Event Form, and we’ll help you make your event a success!

A lot of people still haven’t heard of us! Many don’t know they can help reduce food waste in their community by simply donating their pumpkins. Help us get the word out:
