Pumpkins For Pigs Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

In 2017, we had an idea to reduce food waste by providing our neighbors a way to donate pumpkins, gourds, hay bales, and other Fall decor to local farms, animal sanctuaries, and rescues for feed and compost. Our neighbors responded with enthusiasm and ideas that have expanded our work well beyond the holidays. In 2023, with a network of 600 donation sites across 43 states and Canada, together, we diverted 800 tons of foodstuffs from landfills and prevented over 334 tons of CO2 by using those foodstuffs for animal feed.  Your donation will fund efforts to expand and deepen our reach as well as build new solutions such as diverting leftovers from food pantries and charities.
